ereks mom
What board games do you know of that are equally fun for 2, 3, or 4 players, teen-adult? Something that is fun & plays pretty quickly (no Monopoly-type games!), yet involves a bit of strategy without overtaxing the brain (no chess-type games!) would be great. Of course, price is a consideration, so anything under $20 gets extra points. :)
Cedarmom
We love Settlers of Cataan. They have lots of expansions sets available as well, so you can update and vary the game.
Jenmomof3
We played Blokus at a party the other day and had a great time - the adults enjoyed it as much as the kids. It had enough strategy to make it fun, but definitely didn't overtax the brain.
Colleen
I and a couple of others have been asking here lately for board game recommendations; people offered some great suggestions. Just search the board for "games" ~ or search for posts I've made ~ and you'll hit upon some ideas. We're very into Settlers and are adding to our euro-game collection this Christmas with Cacassonne and, perhaps, Ticket to Ride. We already own and love Blokus, which someone else mentioned. Pink Fairy
How about this? Blokus 3d
athena1277
How about Apples to Apples? It's better if you have at least 3, but it's fun and can be quite hilarious. It's one of my favorites.
tmkclscroggins
How about card games? You could get several packs of cards and a book with different games. Canasta is fun and doesn't take too much brain power. Spades, Hearts, etc. melissa
