Shelydon
My kitchen has bench seating. When I covered the benches initially, I used a marine vinyl that had a bit of a pattern to it. That held up about 3 years. I recovered it a year ago with marine vinyl, but apparently ordered a different kind because it has multiple rips and tears and needs to be replaced. Is there a way to tell what vinyl is the strongest? I have to order, I cannot go in person as no local stores carry it.
prairiewindmomma
I have no advice. I had a bench that ripped a few years into use, and when I recovered it, I had the same issue. I don't think the quality of materials has been what it used to be. It's sure frustrating, though. I ended up donating the bench and just going to a wooden one. Amy in NH
How about upholstery pleather? Upholstery grades of fabric should stand up better to constant use than regular fabrics.
