cintinative
The one on HST is $40. There are bunch on Amazon that are cheaper, but like all things with Amazon, if you read through the comments there are people saying that it is not all it is advertised to be. I am especially concerned about when people say it fluctuates too much in readings. Has anyone purchased one in the last couple of years that they would recommend? Or that they want to sell? 😃 I have a tiny one I got in a Goodwill chemistry lot (one of those Escience kits the colleges use) but it's probably not great--it has a small platform--maybe 2" square. Thanks in advance!
Arcadia
My kids used this Dymo scale for AP Chemistry as well as the small one that came with their lab kit. I forgot whether ours is the 5lb limit or 10lb limit option. It does not have the level of precision you want. We have a set of weights from physics lab and tested them on this scale, it’s rather accurate.https://www.amazon.com/M5-Scale-5LB-Digital-Postal/dp/B0053HCVRA/
Malam
Here's a scale with milligram accuracy but a 20g max capacity: https://nootropicsdepot.com/nootropics-depot-milligram-scale-nds-201/
Arcadia
I also have this one which is 200g to 0.01g accuracy. The small platform was adequate for whatever needed that amount of accuracy. https://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-Scales-AWS-201-BLK-Nutrition/dp/B007X64HPS ETA: platform is about 72mm by 64mm Edited June 28, 2022 by Arcadia
