Slache Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 I'm doing Artistic Pursuits with ages 8 and 10 and I'm buying HAS Kindy for age 4. Should I buy extra materials for 8 and 10 to join for fun, or would it be extraordinarily underwhelming? Quote
My4arrows Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 IMO the Home Art Studio resembles a traditional grade school art. It's definitely more cut, paste, paint crafty type of stuff that my kids of all ages found fun, but didn't learn from like with Artistic Pursuits. So if they enjoy doing crafts it would be fun for them to do along with but they don't require much skill or instruction. 1 Quote
ChocolateCake Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Can you have them look at the samples and ask them? I think the supplies were mostly typical art supplies so it won't hurt to have more supplies on hand. If they are creative they could alter the projects a bit. I've done almost all of them and not always for the grade suggested but usually within a couple of grades difference. 1 Quote
