EKS
I have recently started tutoring using Skype. I would like to be able to write on Powerpoint slides in a way that actually looks good. I've tried a mouse, which obviously looks terrible, and an old Bamboo tablet, which is a little better but not good enough. Do any of you do this? What sort of device do you use? Also, is there a way to save the Powerpoint slides that have been written on? I'd like to be able to give them to the student for reference. Any advice regarding the above or really any aspect of online tutoring would be much appreciated!
regentrude
I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet with stylus. Writing has extreme precision; I can write equations that students can read when they have the entire slide (not zoomed) on their phone. You can save the ppt; need to click on options and choose "keep inking"
Rachel
I have a Bamboo ink stylus that I use with my laptop. I have not specifically tried it in PowerPoint, but it works well in other programs. It works with Windows 10. I’m sure Mac has something similar.
