Sarah0000
Anybody find any workarounds for crocheting or knitting with yarn if you have chronic dry skin issues? The dry skin is being treated as much as possible but is caused by chronic, incurable dehydration so that problem isn't going to be fixed. Gloves and fresh cream make the yarn stick. PeterPan
Move to Florida? My skin gets dry up north and clears up when I go down south. So Florida, live on a cruise ship... Is your vitamin E up? Edited September 2, 2019 by PeterPan

Working Hands cream might work too. It’s not sticky after it absorbs. This is one I have used: https://www.etsy.com/listing/571941213/unscented-hand-cream-for-knitters-happy?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=knitting+hand+lotion&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1&frs=1 Thanks! I will try it. I use Cera Ve right now which is a decent cream most of the time but I still have uncomfortably dry areas between my fingers when I use yarn. HollyDay
I use a hand cream from L'Occitane (probably didn't spell that correctly). It is in their shea line.
