jubilee
I just did a Google search and found this recipe. I know it isn't the greatest for your health but, anything with bacon is yummy:O) hth,
tnmomofboys
I use the canned wide flat green beans add bacon grease (maybe 1-2 tsp), some dried minced onion, salt and pepper and then cook them for as long as it takes to make the rest of the meal, the longer the better. This is nothing special but just good ole southern style beans.
Crissy
How about something like this, Green Beans with Shallots and Pancetta.
hornblower
Last night, I made the green beans & bacon posted on the Pioneer Woman site & they are great. http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/11/country-green-beans/ I made them ahead of time (dredged & wrapped with bacon) & then shoved them in a covered dish in the fridge until the evening.
