threeturn
Our Leap Frog fridge phonic letters are a little grimy from hanging out on the fridge. Has anyone ever submersed these and they came out OK? I hate to have to take the time to clean each one individually (lazy or efficient -- you decide :tongue_smilie:) and would rather toss the bunch in some soapy water and give a quick swipe. Thanks, Pam
Blessedfamily
Well, I was hoping someone else would respond and tell you they'd done it, but it looks like they aren't. I do it one by one I'm afraid. Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but I'm afraid if you submerge them, they may get messed up somehow. :001_smile:

gardening momma
I went to the Leap Frog website, found one of the products (we have Word Whammer), and looked at the "parent guide" (it looks like an insert that might come with the product). http://www.leapfrog.com/etc/medialib/leapfrog/other/wwfridgephonics.Par.0.File.tmp/pg_wwfridgephonics.pdf It specifically says do not submerge in water. Wipe with slightly damp cloth.
klmama
Two suggestions: 1. Call the company and ask if they are submersible. 2. If not, give your 3yo a damp sponge and have her go at it!
threeturn
Thanks for the responses! I especially like your last idea kidlovingmama!
Allearia
Well, I stuck a bunch in the diswasher when they were way too contaminated to consider using without a heavy decontamination (you don't want to know). The colors faded a bit but as far as I know they work fine. I guess I didn't really think about it at the time.
