Instant Pot Folks - Size?

I'm looking at getting one, I think {Y'all are converting me, and I like the metal insert}.

Is it really worth that much more $$ to get a larger one? I'm considering the 5 quart one at Walmart.  It's $50, and it looks like the 8 quart one is $110? Is it really worth it for the larger size? We are a family of 2-4, depending on how many kids are over.  Heavily meat eaters, and I'm really not sure yet if I'll use the IP primarily for sides or more as a crock pot {I have a 6 quart oval crock pot that is plenty big enough for us with leftovers}

fwiw, I don't care if it has the yogurt feature or not {we don't like yogurt}.

I wrote a long post on why you should get the 8qt on another thread.  I have a 6 qt as well and keep them going for 3 adults in the family. If I could only have one, it would be the 8qt.  I can't cut and paste, so if you go read the other post, it is worth your while. I promise.

(Do not get the 5 qt.)

We've been able to get by with a six quart for our family of seven, but I am upgrading to the 8. If I had a family of 2-4 I would get the 6 qt and use it for a while before deciding if I wanted the bigger one. I've been very happy with my 6 qt but wanted to be able to make enough to have leftovers.

Thanks for posting this! We are a family of 7 (3 adults), about to be 8. I was on the fence on which size would be best for us...
