KeriJ
How delayed? She had a decent dose of antibiotics, but that was 3 months ago. I can't remember exactly, but it was much less than that.
AngieC
Mine looked an awful lot liked that and they suspected tat I turned my initial rash into a contact dermatitis by using aloe with lidocaine to stop the itching (lidocaine can cause contact dermatitis). I kept itching more and putting on more aloe to stop the itching and suddenly my whole body was covered. It was definitely worse at night. ETA: the steroid shots offered the best and quickest relief. It's definitely worth asking about. Edited October 3, 2017 by AngieC
eternalsummer
scabies aren't on the palms or soles of feet, often on the backs of hands, though, in between fingers. It can explode because what happens is when the mites start burrowing and reproducing, your body isn't senstitized to them and doesn't react for 4-6 weeks. Then once it reacts, if you've already got a pretty widespread infection, it can just be all over.
