katilac Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 We were supposed to meet up with the paternal grandparents in Huntsville visit oldest dd at college. Unfortunately, we are in NOLA and at the mercy of the weather this week. Classes at youngest dd's college were canceled for the afternoon due to flooding and rain. We aren't terribly worried about our house flooding, but the kittens were going to board at the vet, and we don't know how safe they are from flooding. And one of the two access routes to the interstate floods pretty often in normal heavy rain, we might not be able to get out even if we deem it safe to travel. There's nothing to do but wait . . . and complain, lol. I hate the thought of not going to see her, and I hate not knowing one way or the other. I'm going to try and be glad I'm not in Houston.
