solascriptura
I've never tried this product since I don't have a need to eat low carb. I love trying new food products, so.... what are your favorite ways to use it?
Guest
Instead of spaghetti under a spaghetti sauce. I get sick of rice, and don't eat (much) wheat. In a salad (duh) or a soup instead of noodles or rice or just because.
AnnE-girl
I just made cauliflower rice and beans for lunch. I've also made cilantro lime "rice" with it and used it instead of regular rice as a base under beef and broccoli or other foods that I would normally serve over rice. zoobie
I haven't seen it at Costco yet! I've tried the TJs version. I prefer it roasted to steamed. I use it instead of rice or pasta. We like it under creamy or flavorful sauces. Maya Kaimal simmer sauces are good if you like Indian food. They're relatively low carb (usually 9-11 grams for 1/2 cup). Under this: http://www.food.com/recipe/chicken-lazone-65768 (I use a Cajun seasoning blend instead of the listed spices) In burrito bowls (Kaylyn's Kitchen has lots of variations) Under Korean ground beef or not-takeout "Asian" foods (in quotes because I know they're not authentic--I'm talking Mongolian beef or beef and broccoli or chicken whatever)
Ravin
I like it seasoned like mashed potatoes. I haven't had the stuff from Costco, but have made it by throwing frozen cauliflower into the food processor.
Seasider
I just bought some with a plan to do a version of chipotle cilantro lime rice.
solascriptura
Wow! All the suggestions sound great! How do I keep it from being soggy? A lot of times, frozen veggies are soggy when thawed
