Good Study Guide for French CLEP? French SAT?

There doesn't seem to be much out there for the French CLEP. Would the materials for the French SAT subject test work?

 

Dd with three years of French flubbed the cc placement test. I really don't want her to waste time taking the first year of French again. Especially since the First year classes are 5 credit hours each.

 

Any ideas?

Dd took the French Reading SAT first so she definitely used the SAT study materials. Barrons and Princeton Review I believe. When she decided to try the Clep exam she reviewed using the material for the listening SAT exam. We also had a brown covered Clep review book from the library. I couldn't find it on Amazon so assuming it's no longer in print. It wasn't very helpful so I wouldn't hunt for it.

 

Just asked dd and she said it was very similar.

Well, I guess no one takes the French CLEP

 

We will try the French SAT prep then take the sample CLEP, then take it for real. We will see how it goes....
