pjssully
What's the verdict on this--wondering if it would be a good match for my 11-12 year old daughter. thanks pam
Lori in MS
My 12 yr old ds is doing AG after completing R&S 4 last year. He is in 6th grade (late birthday). He is doing very well with it. It is challenging for him, but not overwhelming. I like the fact that it does not take all year to do grammar. The instructions are clear and understandable. I do not agree with some of the definitions (ie prepositions) so I just continue with the defintions he already has memorized with FLL. He is on unit 4 of Season 1. So far, so good. 8filltheheart
I think it is a good "pull it off the shelf and learn grammar" approach. However, it does contain some errors which aren't huge and some people don't really care about them. I simply use the sentences and teach and grade on my own b/c I am one of those that does. ;)

hmschtrio5
We love it! My 11 yo daughter who has never used a formal grammar program before does very well. We will be finished with season one, unit #10, next week and although at times she has found it challenging, her grade has never been lower than a B+ on any given test.
