butterfly113
DS has decided he would like to take a computer science course his last year of high school. What curriculum recommendations do you have? Edited May 26, 2017 by butterfly113
FriedClams
I'm going to have my son take Derek Owen's this fall. He gets great reviews on here!
Julie of KY
Unfortunately Derek Owens doesn't do an online computer science course - only live classes. My son will do it through Edhesive. Teen Coder is another option. There are several free MOOC courses.
Hilltopmom
I think PA homeschoolers offers AP comp sci? My Ds took all of his at our local CC, after doing some MOOC s. Oh, & AOPS and Funda also do Python courses.
mirabillis
We took Edhesive's this year. My ds loved it! I see they now offer AP Stats too - he is tempted to take that with them as he liked the platform so much. And he felt really well-prepared for the AP exam to boot.

I looked at their website and am interested, but this is all new to me. Are the Edhesive courses live, or can students work at their own pace and time? Are these courses free?
