Night Elf
Dd was laying in the grass yesterday and something bit her. She didn't tell me about it until just now so I don't know how fast the reaction was really. It's on her arm and the whole red area is swollen. It's about 1.5 - 2 inches big. It's hot to the touch and itches a lot. What can she put on it to help? All she has is cortisone cream. She's coming home today though, so I can buy whatever she needs. Night Elf
She doesn't have that medicine in her dorm. I'll give it to her when she gets here. Will calamine lotion help at all?
displace
She doesn't have that medicine in her dorm. I'll give it to her when she gets here. Will calamine lotion help at all? Maybe. Hydrocortisone will help more. Any anti allergy med could help. Benadryl will work best probably.
Night Elf
When she got home, we can see a definite lump where the area is swollen but it was barely red. We gave her a Benadryl. She's working on school work right now so I haven't asked her if it helped yet.
Catwoman
I put apple cider vinegar on bites and it works wonders. It quickly takes down the swelling and gets rid of any itching or burning.
Night Elf
Ok, if it still itches today I'll try that. She's still sleeping.
