crazyforlatin
DD is interested in animation mainly due to How to Train Your Dragon series of shows. Has anyone tried this provider, http://www.theanimcourse.com/the-animation-course.html? I looked at Excelsior Academy (http://excelsiorclasses.com/graphic-design/) to see what could be a companion course, but I really don't know what courses would be similar or at least just as interesting. Any other courses?
cintinative
I have two friends who have used The animation course and really liked it. I don't have any direct experience. Bump for you!
Jilly
My DS has worked through all the levels at The Animation Course. He has loved it! The instructor is wonderful, very funny and engaging. He also give direct feedback to all student assignments which is great. I highly recommend these classes.
crazyforlatin
Thanks for the feedback, DD is really excited about the animation class. There is a live summer class here but it costs $800 for about 2 weeks.
lailasmum
My eldest has done one level of the Animation Course and is signed up for another. It's brilliant. I recommend it. There's also some animation/illustration on Jam and also Pixar in a box on Khan Academy. Edited March 29, 2017 by lailasmum
