Guest Kirsten Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 Newbie on all fronts here. I've got four I began homeschooling this year. They have been given an amazing start from a wonderful Montessori school. We are loving it but are looking for some social outlets. As well as support for me and general accountability. If you are in our area (Durham, NC) please give a shout out. We follow a structured unschooling method of learning. The baby is too little for any real brain power from me and I am here alone with four kids all day. I would be more diligent but right now finances are too tight for materials. So I am riding the wave of a very successful early education program. My four year old is breaking out in reading and my nine year old is falling in love with Geometry (I really don't know where this coming from).
