Sherry in OH
My son received his Arrow of Light on Sunday. As part of the ceremony he was presented with a 30-inch long arrow banded to reflect his Cub Scout achievements. I would like to preserve this arrow (and his other Cub Scout awards) for him. My online searches turn up many images of how other people display the arrows but no information on where to buy the shadowbox. Other scout moms: if your son's pack presents actual arrows, how do you display your son's arrow?
Miss Tick
That sounds so nice! Our pack was sooo disorganized. Anyway, any frame shop should be able to make a shadow box for you. You could include his cub patches, too.
saw
We're having plaques made for the boys, with hooks to hang the arrow from. The plaques have the boys name, pack, etc engraved on them.
Leav97
There are a lot of really neat ideas out there to showcase everything or just the arrow. https://www.google.com/search?q=cub+scout+display+case&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=950&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwitq7b0pv7RAhWIx4MKHR_yDJUQ_AUIBygC https://www.google.com/search?q=cub+scout+display+case&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=950&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwitq7b0pv7RAhWIx4MKHR_yDJUQ_AUIBygC#tbm=isch&q=cub+scout+display+arrow&imgrc=FoI0blvaSlIyZM:
