bettyandbob
I'm going to be teaching a water aerobics class to seniors 3 days a week. I just certified in water aerobics and this was added to the many things I do, starting next week. I've never taught any water aerobics (someone is directing me next week). I know the exercises I'm going to do. I need music. I need to put music on my phone. I will be using a blue tooth enabled speaker to play from my phone. my phone is android. I have a couple problems. I've never made a playlist. My young adult children do not know how to do this (I apparently failed them with some of our electronics restrictions during formative years). I'm having trouble finding music with a slow enough beats per minute (110-120) What would be a good site to get music. Until I really figure this out I'm going to go with something premixed. I was looking at YesMusic. Are there other website that are better?
Crimson Wife
This site may run a little Top 40ish for seniors, but it lets you sort by BPM: http://jogtunes.com/jtc/jtctrackssearch.php?x=100+and+120&q=Genre&a=+Artist&Submit=Submit
umsami
I can't help with sites and stuff, but I go to a water aerobics class that is mostly 65+ up ladies, and one of the instructors uses Broadway tunes. Those seem very popular with the ladies. They all kind of smile and hum/sing. :)
KungFuPanda
In your position, I'd look up the playlists to those Richard Simmons Sweatin' to the Oldies videos and shamelessly copy them.
