footballmom
Have you been tested for Lyme? Keep in mind the test has a lot of false negatives. But a lot of the symptoms fit. I'm sorry you feel so crummy :(
umsami
Did they test your cardiac enzymes? Only reason I say this as heart attacks in women can present really strangely/atypically.

trulycrabby
How is your abdomen? Has the girth expanded any? When I had ascites, I could not eat because of all the fluid pressing on everything. Edited October 19, 2016 by trulycrabby
OneStepAtATime
I was going to update tomorrow but I guess I will post tonight. Had abdominal scans this morning. Go in tomorrow for results of latest blood work and scans. No noticeable distension of my abdomin and no abdominal pain. Hope you are all well. Best wishes.
Guest2
Is your liver ok on the scan?
OneStepAtATime
Is your liver ok on the scan? I won't know until I get the results tomorrow. I do know liver function was elevated last week and a bit more elevated at the beginning of this week. Guess I find out tomorrow how much (have not seen the report, just got a brief statement from the doc right before the scan).

OneStepAtATime
Scans negative. White blood cell count low. Rest of blood work normal except liver function which is still elevated. However, the more detailed blood work from the hospital is not back yet. Doc is tracking it down. At this point she thinks it is a weird virus. However, no one else in the family has gotten sick. I do feel better today. Nowhere near normal...but a bit better. kitten18
Thanks for updating. Sounds like good news.
OneStepAtATime
Thought I would update... I wanted to also thank everyone again for the suggestions and support. Not one test came back with anything conclusive. Regardless, after over a month I seem to be on the mend. I am weak, I still sometimes end up short of breath, but I haven't run fever or an elevated temp in 3 days. I can walk around instead of just sitting in a recliner for hours on end. Food still tastes off but my appetite is slowly returning. I even was able to toss the ball with DS and DD for a few minutes yesterday. Whatever it was, I think I am finally, slowly, getting over it. Anyway, just wanted to thank all of you again for your help and support. The Hive rocks. Best wishes. :)
