Quiver0f10
I know I am thinking way ahead as my DS is only in FLL 1/2, but I was wondering what comes aafter FLL 4? Would you go into a program such as Rod & Staff 5? Thanks :)
swellmomma
we are going to do R&S 3 after FLL 1/2 I decided that making the switch earlier rather than going to the end of FLL 4 would be best for my kids.
Jane Elliot
I know I am thinking way ahead as my DS is only in FLL 1/2, but I was wondering what comes aafter FLL 4? Would you go into a program such as Rod & Staff 5? Thanks :) Jean, I will use R&S 5. We have always used R&S, but I've been using FLL with my 8yo simply because *I* needed a change. The idea of going through R&S 3 for the umpteenth time just wasn't exciting to me. FLL has been a refreshing change. Anyway, I'll definitely go back to R&S after FLL4 as we've been so pleased with the results in our other children.
Emmy
Do they not plan to continue the series of FLL?
Titus.Two.Five
I don't use FLL 1/2 (we do delayed formal grammar), but I am using FLL 3 and will use FLL 4. After which we will be using English and The Bible, Diagramming and The Bible, and Capitalization and The Bible all by Louise Ebner.
Stacy in NJ
After FLL4 we'll move into either R&S 4 or 5. I'll need to have a look at the TOC to compare. I really don't have the goal of moving through all the R&S books. If we complete R&S 7, I'll be happy. So, if we're a year or even two behind, I'm fine with that. susie in tx
We'll probably stop. Right now, I am having my students use CW, which has some work in Harvey's. We may or may not do that depending on how well the student did in FLL. We will, however, continue to do the grammar work in the CW workbooks. Mallory
Do they not plan to continue the series of FLL? I am pretty sure that FLL 4 is as far as they are going to go. I believe because there are plenty of good grammar curriculums for logic and rhetoric aged children.
Quiver0f10
Thanks everyone! We will see where my DS is at the time, but we will probably switch to R&S 5.

Another Lynn
I might consider Easy Grammar/Daily Grams except I'd prefer to keep diagramming and I don't think that one does. I'll also consider JAG and AG. I'm sure I'll look at R&S, but so far I haven't been drawn to it. Maybe it would be fun to take a year to look at Queens or ILL for something very different and then go to AG after that. I don't know, I'm pretty open right now. mommytobees
We started Voyages Grade 5 for my son and I am quite impressed with it. We're doing that and going to continue that with my daughter, along side The Writer's Jungle. Kris
FlockOfSillies
R&S is out of the question for us, so I'll be watching this thread for ideas/recs. Keep 'em coming, ladies! :bigear:
Robyn
We're most likely switching to GWG. We used their third grade program before we started FLL3 because we finished FLL1+2 in the second grade. I wanted to slow down our pace. Ds really liked it and I like that it is independent.
