Help, hitting an earth science wall!!!!

Could you be more specific in what info you need? Are you looking for a textbook, or websites with animation of volcanoes, or ????

 

PS We were in Oceanside last June and got to spend a day in San Diego - I love me some San Diego!!!!! (am a native Californian - Orange County)
