hornblower Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Dd just found out she's been accepted to a BScN program in Jan 2017! She has one more application outstanding for another Jan 2017 start program but won't hear from the other school until October. It's a toss up which program is 'better'. Both are university transfer programs with admission based on competitive GPA & other criteria, and both are well known for excellence in teaching. One is a bit closer geographically and might be an easier commute. Otoh, both have very early start to clinicals (they start clinicals during the first couple of weeks) and the students spend 2-3 days a week in hospital so commutes will always be difficult as you get sent all over town. But it looks like either way, she'll be on her way to becoming an RN! 32 Quote
