gingersmom
Has anyone who is/has child/family member who is gluten free eaten at Hu Hot or PF Changs successfully? I'm thinking of taking daughter there but am trying to make sure it is safe. Plus she flys cross country the next day and I want to ensure I don't get her sick. Thanks!!! I've had GF at PF Changs and it was good. It takes a bit longer as they make everything in separate pans from scratch, and it takes more room on your table as they have special plates designated for GF and those are larger than the usual plates. Also ask them for GF soy sauce for the "mix" where they bring you soy sauce, chili oil, and chili paste to mix together as a condiment. If you like shrimp, I think the GF shrimp in lobster sauce is their best GF dish. The servers have always been really good about it. I've never heard of Hu Hot.
Joules
I've never gotten sick from PF Changs. It's one of my go-to chains for travel as they seem to be consistently careful.
