National Latin Exam question

Recommended Posts

It's based on a ranking of the scores, and it varies from year-to-year.

One year you could miss five and still get a gold medal in one of the levels, and another year it was two.

They will send a report with the scores that give how they divided the levels.

Their newsletter here gives some information about 2015: http://www.nle.org/pdf/newsletter/NLE-Spring-2015.pdf

My younger one takes the Latin IV Prose tomorrow.

Thank you so much.  I figured that it would vary; I was just wondering about the range.  From what you posted, it looks like it varies quite a bit!

Yes, it does. I forget if it was the III or IV exam for my oldest that allowed you to miss five and get a gold. That one was usually tough. Usually a gold required that miss no more than two or so.
