Prairie~Phlox Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 This is what I prefer: romance, some s e x, but not super heavy every page filthy. More contemporary, I don't really care for the historical fiction. Quote
ktgrok Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Catherine Anderson is pretty clean, and contemporary. Amity Lassiter has some that I liked, set on a ranch if I remember right. And I adored Rosalind James' Kincaid Brothers series and the one set in Paradise Iowa (her new zealand books didn't work for me, but the Kincaid brothers ones were great....fairly sexy though.) Also Kim Law's Montana Cherries and Sugar Springs novels. (I don't like the others quite as much). Loreth Ann White's newer books (not the Harlequin ones, but the recent ones) if you like romantic suspense...but those are more intense emotionally. Very different. And also, if you like romantic suspense/serial killers I highly recommend Melinda Leigh and Kendra Elliot's books. And of course, I write contemporary romance with minimal sex :) 1 Quote
Prairie~Phlox Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Thanks. I like some personal relationship stuff, but not when the whole book is centered on that. Iykwim. Quote
AmandaVT Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I like Susan Wiggs Lakeshore Chronicles series - they're light, each book focuses on a different character based out of the same town in upstate NY. Summer at Willow Lake is the first one. RaeAnne Thayne has a similar type of series based in Colorado. Blackberry Summer is the first one. 1 Quote
