The form asks for ds' wages for last year. His work provides a gross pay amount and a net pay amount. Which one answers the question? The help box refers you to line 7 on the income tax form. He does not have a W-2 form yet. So he looked at his last paycheck of 2015 and it gave a gross pay figure and a net pay figure. I'm trying to figure out what one they want. If it's referring you to Line 7 (which is for taxable wages, salaries, taxable tips, etc.), then they're talking about GROSS income.
