lisabees
Looking for an online, easily accessible resource that I can use this week. My other kids' English courses were outsourced, so I have never "taught" a tenth grader to write. DD needs to be walked through the process and it would be helpful to have something available to me this week. I want to step up my expectations, now that she is not brand new to homeschooling. Thanks!
Chrysalis Academy
Bravewriter Expository Essay - there is a session that started this week, and one that starts later in the month: http://www.bravewriter.com/program/online-classes/class-schedule
Julie of KY
In addition to online Bravewriter courses, there is Help for High School which is a pdf of the instructions for two of their online courses. It covers Kidswrite Intermediate and Expository Essay. It has great instructions written to the student. What it is missing compared to the online classes is the teacher support and the wonderful feedback that I cannot give my kids.

Haiku
The Student's Friend website has a collection of documents teaching students how to write a research paper.
