Quick! Can I replace paprika with crushed red pepper?

I have no idea what I am doing. I googled for substitutes but I am without any herb/spice bottles that say cayenne or chili. I have no hot sauce. I did find this one that said crushed red pepper but that wasn't on the list of substitutes. This is what i was trying to throw together: http://www.food.com/recipe/easy-tasty-baked-chicken-234622

Should I find a new recipe instead?

I love hot things. But I have no idea what I am doing in the kitchen and am not feeling experimental if y'all aren't giving a hearty thumbs up. I will search for another plan. I am just so bored with my hand full of recipes that I don't even want to eat, let alone cook.

I don't find paprika to have that much of a taste, unless it's smoked paprika, which I find disgusting.

You could replace the paprika with a teaspoon of chili powder (not using the whole tablespoon called for in the recipe). I cook a lot and am comfortable subbing ingredients when I can.

I have no chili. :(

I am putting this stuff on the shopping list for next week. Obviously I need more spice in my life.
