4Kiddos
In the last two months, my oldest son has read the complete Redwall series along with a whole bunch of other books. I am struggling with trying to keep him in books. (AHHHH!) Does anyone have any suggestions for books that are a higher reading level but not too mature for a 7 year old? He has a wide range of interests. We love out of print books too so please don't hesitate to suggest those.
gracie01
He might like the warrior cats books. They're comparable to Redwall, although not quite as well written. Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk
LydiaG
I had the same problem a few years ago. I don't remember a lot of what ds read when he was 7. Beast Quest, Dragon Rider, Chronicles of Narnia.
Roadrunner
My younger DS adored Prydain Chronicles and Narnia at that age.
Kareni
Chinaberry used to have a list of books for precocious readers. I remember that The King of Ireland's Son was on it. Does your son have an e-reader? There is actually a free version for Kindle readers here: The King of Ireland's Son by Padraic Colum Another title I recall is The Wind Boy by Ethel Cook Eliot.
