  1. We tried it for the first time this year. DS9 said it was super easy, and DS6 had a harder time with it; he only got 10 right. I think he guessed on all of the 5 pointers. Not bad for his first time filling out a scantron! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  2. Agree with the not great literature remark, but... the series and fan community prompted my daughter to begin animation. She's now worked on several multi animator projects on YouTube. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  3. I enjoyed Megiddo's Shadow by Arthur Slade. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  4. The "who was" series is pretty popular. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  5. I've been to conferences at that Wyndham, but I've only stayed overnight on base or in a house. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  6. How about the "You Wouldn't Want to be" series? My third grader loves them, and they have enough pictures to keep my 5yr old interested. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks for making me snort this morning! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  8. Fahrenheit. Just got my 3rd grader's science test back- he doesn't know the boiling temp of water in F, but he sure knows the freezing point! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  9. Air temperature is -21 and wind chill is -42. We need more than a layer of fleece! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  10. I love YMCA of the Rockies! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  11. Maybe one of the thinkfun games? We've got the gravity maze and the laser maze. The 11dd likes them, 8ds is occasionally obsessed with them, and 5ds putters making discoveries with them. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  12. I've got an 11, 8 and just turned 5. What works best for us is positioning- the oldest is on the floor drawing, the middle one is laying down or behind me doing something, and the youngest is in my lap. Pinochio was working until the oldest finished reading it on her own. Beverly Cleary has gone over pretty well. They all love Graeme Base, and Holling C. Holling is good for reading just one or two pages and being done for now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  13. Brains On! Tumble Science, and Story Pirates are my kids favorites.
  14. We listen to Tumble Science and Brains on. Those two are aimed at kids. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  15. It doesn't go in depth enough to be anti-catholic. The closest is "They just wanted to have their own godly church. In England, the Pilgrims could not live as they believed the Bible required." Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk
  16. He might like the warrior cats books. They're comparable to Redwall, although not quite as well written. Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk
