looking for new iPad mini case, not an otterbox.

I currently have a speck case. It's fine for protecting the way I use it. DH has some of ninja turtle case and I intensely dislike it!

Most of the time mine is open on the stand and sitting on my counter while I look up a recipe or on my sewing table while I sew something inspired by Pinterest.. I don't travel with it as I have no data plan.

Problem is if you bump it, it falls down. The grooves are just not deep enough.

There are so many on Amazon it makes my head spin.

What do you have and love?

I would get the smart case they sell to match it

I watched a you tube video about that one . The guy says you have to careful or it falls down when you bump it.

 

Any others for me to check out?

My kids have Trident cases on their tablets (not iPad minis but Android equivalents the same size), and they are very protective - equivalent to an Otterbox, IMO.

 

I have a Dodo case for my tablet, which has a hard cover and an elastic band to close it like a journal.

I actually really like the cheap Fintie cases, which close completely over the screen, and have the smart case magnets. We have several on different devices, and they've protected the screen even after a few times being knocked off furniture. The case flaps go completely around the device on all sides, with cutouts for ports, so it doesn't fall out.

We have a Caseformers case on a mini. It stands well and is stable. The only thing I don't love, is that the angle isn't adjustable.

We have a Roo case on a full size iPad. It's pretty stable and slightly more adjustable, but not much.

The Caseformer has more protection on the front when the case is open.
