mathmarm
I can't believe that it didn't occur to me to ask sooner: Is there a reading curriculum that is based on games? Sort of like Right Start Math, but for phonics and reading? My little ones LOVE games--no matter how cheesy--and my family keeps asking what I want/need for the kids for the holiday season. AimeeM
Yes. PAL (Primary Art of Language - Reading), by IEW. However, the reviews are sincerely 50/50 (negative vs. positive). I used it for a while and liked it, but ended up leaving it. I regret leaving it, if that matters, lol.
FO4UR
Happy Phonics. It is low-tech. Laminate it and cut. But, the games are perfectly suited for ages 3-8 and work very well to teach phonics.
Holly
I haven't used it myself, but Reading Made Easy could be what you're looking for.
kirstenhill
There are a lot of games in Logic of English Foundations, though most kids wouldn't be ready to start that until maybe 4 or 4.5 years old or older.
