DawnM
We are meeting friends who don't live in W-S, but it is a half way point. We need a place to hang out for a couple of hours with kids (mostly teen ages) indoors and not too pricey. One of the families coming is on a pretty limited budget. Any clean bowling alleys or any suggestions? This will be for a Friday, so it will be a school day and so the place will need to be open during the day. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dawn

PeachyDoodle
This place is ENORMOUSLY popular with teens around here: http://airboundtrampolinepark.com/winston-salem/ Adventure Landing on Stratford Rd has an arcade, mini-golf, etc. About half inside/half out. http://www.adventurelanding.com/parks/winston-salem/ Basically anything around the Hanes Mall area is a pretty nice part of town. Will come back if I think of more...
Pawz4me
Yes to Old Salem! You can walk around for free, but you have to buy a pass to go in most of the buildings. Tanglewood Park is in Clemmons, just outside of W-S. Lots to do there. As far as bowling alleys, look at the AMF on Jonestown Road. I've never been to the bowling alley, but it's a safe area. If you want to go to a shopping area -- Hanes Mall or Thruway Shopping Center.
DawnM
We love it there! http://www.oldsalem.org/ Yes, we have been here, but we need an indoor place where the parents can sit and really talk.
DawnM
Thank you. I will take a look at all the options. We do want indoors. The weather may be rainy and the parents......we are all childhood friends and really want to be able to sit and reminisce and talk.
