Nemom
I purchased a new computer with Windows 8 and it appears that my Quicken 2010 is not compatible. I really do not want to spend the money on Quicken Deluxe 2015. Are there any free similar programs available for download that are free or less expensive? TrixieB
Are you sure that Quicken 2010 is not compatible? Asking because late last year I loaded Quicken 2002 onto a new Windows 8 laptop. A few features don't work, but they are things I never used anyway.

Nemom
Mint. You Need A Budget (YNAB). Have you used Mint personally? Looks like YNAB costs about $60.00. Not break the bank but still not free...

My husband does the day to day bills as such and he likes it ok.
NicksMama-Zack's Mama Too
We use Quicken99 (yes, you read that right) on a Windows 7 pc. We run some sort of XP emulator and then open Quicken99. I bet there is a similar work-around for your situation.
