Carolyn in Ohio
Ds is going to take the online calculus this year. It seems like I should order the books from Lulu, and we should be ready to start the class before registering - and starting to pay $58/month. Is this right? No reason to register now if we aren't starting school for another 3-4 weeks? thanks Carolyn
yvonne
When you register, you'll be asked when you want to start the class. They'll give you access and bill based on that date. It's worth registering at least a couple weeks ahead of when you want to start so they can get you set up for access. Definitely order the text so you have it when the class starts. It took two weeks, I think, for us to get the Physics texts from Lulu.

VANURSEPRAC
Question of DO online course. Can one take the course at an accelerated rate. Such as a 'summer math bookcamp" type of pace. I wonder about the grading.
yvonne
I think someone on the list did do a DO course at an accelerated pace. I'm sure you could. Email Derek to confirm, though. He's been very responsive when I've emailed him.
Julie of KY
I'd email specifically, but I know the website says that you can accelerate, and I think it says he requests at least a 3-month payment if planning on doing the entire course and wanting everything graded.
