fdrinca
Our pastor has now delivered the same homily for the past three weeks, in this same-sex-marriage-is-legal era. Variations on a theme, but the message was: fight against abortion and same-sex marriage. Just curious if other pastors are stuck in this homiletic rut as well. HomeschoolingHearts&Minds
No, that has not been our experience at all.
Joker
Nope. That isn't what we've experienced at all. Ours has mostly been about being loving towards others no matter where they fall on this issue.
JustEm
Nope, our homilies cover the readings of the day. As they should.

imagine.more
We've had a homily on that topic but certainly not 3 in a row. Generally the homilies focus on the readings, as is best, with occasional topical ones like on this current issue, which is also appropriate. I'd be annoyed by any repeat homilies, sounds either lazy or like hyperfocusing on one issue.
PrairieSong
No, we have not had that experience. Our priest mostly focus on the Scripture readings.
