Ann.without.an.e
For next year dd wants to take... AP Stats ? (while reviewing pre-cal for calculus her sr year) AP World History AP Lit & Comp. Chemistry DE Latin DE Weight Training (we will do this together at the gym) She wants to complete SAT Subject tests in Chem, Math 2, Lit, and World. These are her choices, not mine. Is this too much? Julie of KY
It's a good variety. Whether or not it is too much is very dependent on the student - you know her best and whether she can handle this load. How many and what level of classes did she take this year?

Precal/trig. AP Human Geo AP Lang and Comp AP Art History Latin II Biology PE Honestly, this was a difficult year. She's had no life. Part of that is the AP Art as it is a challenging course. This is why I suggested she not plan on 7 courses next year ;)
Luckymama
Why is she not taking the SAT Math 2 test this year? The ideal time to take is immediately after finishing precalc. She could still register for the June 6 date :)

Kareni
Are the Chemistry and Latin dual enrolled at the high school or the college? I agree with Luckymama that taking the SAT Math Level 2 test in June would be a good plan while the material is fresh. Overall, it sounds like a challenging schedule but doable for the motivated student. Regards, Kareni
