NicksMama-Zack's Mama Too
We replaced our heat pump just over 5 years ago. Over the last 3 years we've put about $3,000 in it (parts were under warranty, do that's 3000 in labor and freon). It's a Goodman. The latest hvac guy is recommending Ruud systems. Looking at reviews on the Internet indicate that plenty of people have the same problems I've had with their Ruud systems. So, what brands should I look at? Pawz4me
Ours are Carriers that will be be nine years old in September (we have two units). We keep a maintenance contract on them, and the spring AC inspection was this morning. The man told me that a capacitor on a blower was going out. I opted to go ahead and replace it while he was here at a cost of $86.77 That's the only repair we've needed.
fraidycat
My Mom used to do books for a plumbing shop. They used Carrier brand.
RKWAcademy
Just replaced ours last month. The old one and the new one are Trane. The old one was ancient. It was costly but necessary. Our washer went out this month. Yikes. I'm hoping everything works as it should for awhile...I'm lookin' at you CAR.
