Program that combines spelling and grammar?

I was thinking about getting All About Spelling, but I also need grammar. I have a ds, 12 yo. He has had very informal grammar and needs to work on spelling. I would like to not spend a crazy amount (like the Phonics Road). Also hoping for something not too labor intensive on my end.

 

Any suggestions?

Have you looked into CLE? All in one LA (spelling and grammar included), largely independent. Rigorous, not uncommon to place a few levels back, so the placement test is strongly recommended.

With my ds(9), I've been using his dictation in AAS to teach him grammar. After he writes his sentences, I have him label them with the parts of speech. So far he's learned subject nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, and articles. He's also learned a few capitalization and end punctuation rules, and he knows how to turn a question into a statement.I think I'm going to purchase a grammar program to help me determine a sequence but that I'm going to continue teaching him grammar with his AAS dictation.
