pitterpatter
Overdrive has so many great audio books that are WMA-only format. I can't play them on my Kindle. And, most don't allow burning to a CD. DD is too mobile to sit and listen to them via our computer. What inexpensive device can I purchase to play them? Or, if anyone knows of an Kindle app that would play them, that would be preferable. PeterPan
Have you tried the Overdrive app? http://www.amazon.com/OverDrive-Inc-Library-eBooks-Audiobooks/dp/B00850NK6I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426772276&sr=8-1&keywords=overdrive+app
pitterpatter
I do and I thought I played a WMA file through it once, but when I tried at a later time, I couldn't get it to work. Hmm. Maybe I need to go back and investigate this again. JanetC
I was going to suggest looking at Sansa devices as well. Microsoft no longer sells music players, so the WMA format may just be dying. Sansa is a decent brand, though.
