We are just about wrapping up MiF for second grade and I'm really thinking about spending the rest of the year with Miquon and perhaps BA 3a.  If you have two kids in the same level, do they both need their own practice books?  I'm assuming that we can share the main text, but they'd need their own practice books.  I thought I'd get the general opinion here from folks that have had their hands on the actual books before submitting my order.  Thanks!

I only have 1 child in Beast, but I thought the way we do it may work for you.  I have a cover that slips over each page, and my dd uses a dry erase marker on the problems in the practice book.  I do this since some of the problems she has to erase and start over after her first try doesn't work out.  She also likes it when I copy the problem onto our big white board since it's easier for her to work standing up for some reason.

We do what Becky does.  Actually, I do this with all of my consumables.  I remove the binding, three-hole punch the pages, and then I slip them into dry erase pockets when the kids are going to do them.  I don't use dry erase markers, they frustrate the kids too much (because they erase too easily).  Instead, I use Vis-A-Vis fine point wet erase markers.  These.  Actually, they're on sale right now!  At the end of the day, I wipe them off and stick them all in a red folder.  Every two weeks, I refile the pages...lol.  I put a small initial on the top corner of each page, so I know who's done what.
