bluedarling
I'm looking for 11th grade courses with lots of teacher interaction. Ds loves to ask a ton of questions. Any course recommendations? He currently takes French online (Middlebury) and its fine, but he has very little teacher interaction, and I think that's turning him off to online courses. But he doesn't want to go to PS, so I need to find more interactive online options, I think. We're looking at him taking Pre-Calculus, French 3, AP Computer Science, and a social science...maybe Contemporary World Issues or something similar (English and Physics have local options I'm still considering...but I'd consider really good interactive online classes, too.) Annie Elle
We have had very good experiences with The Potter's School.
Matryoshka
My dd's taking math with Wilson Hill this year. There are two 1.5 hour live classes every week with lots of teacher interaction. Her Alg2 teacher is fantastic and also teaches WH's Pre-Calculus.
Guest2
Great Books Courses through Angelicum Academy involve reading great books and a 2 hour discussion one time a week. Maybe he would enjoy that?

We will most likely continue with Algebra 2 there next year as well.
Sebastian (a lady)
My son did the Sejong Korean Scholars Program over the fall and really enjoyed it. There were frequent video conferences (2-3 per month), weekly assignments as well as a discussion board the students posted to. He really enjoyed it and is doing the sister program on Japan this semester. http://spice.fsi.stanford.edu/fellowships/sejong_korean_scholars_program
