TrixieB Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 If it doesn't work - and I will no longer be a Prime subscriber when I get my gift from myself so I will in effect be a new subscriber - then the $ will convert into gift cards, which I will use to gift myself Prime. If that's how it really plays out, I won't have saved the $27, but I would have spent the full price to renew Prime anyway.
