Mrs Mungo
A ham roast is just a fresh ham, right? When you say BBQ, what do you mean? Do you mean it was smoked or cooked over flame or do you mean that it is sauced? Does it have a bone? These things are *extremely* regional, so just trying to clarify. eta: If you have an unsauced roasted ham, then I would use it in 7 bean soup or black eyed peas or something like that. If what you have is more like a pork butt, then I would do pulled pork sandwiches.
ProudGrandma
it's not a cured ham. It is actually more like a pork roast that I cooked with BBQ sauce. I could sandwiches, but we had grilled cheese for lunch...so I was hoping for something different.
Tanaqui
Well... you could make the same pulled pork, but put it over mashed potatoes or with rice and beans.
Mrs Mungo
Anything I'd normally do with leftover pork (fried rice, seven bean soup, etc) isn't going to go well with BBQ sauce.
chocolatechip
Perhaps a little odd. . .but i don't mind being inventive with cooking personally. . . Maybe twice-baked potatoes topped with the pork? I'd shred it and add a little more BBQ sauce and stick in in a crock pot. Then when the potatoes are ready you're all set to go. I'd probably serve it with green salad or something like that.
zoobie
Leftover BBQ on top of baked potatoes is yummy. BBQ quesadillas, pizza... Brunswick stew maybe.
