Early Action crossing fingers

DD sent early action application out, so we're crossing fingers that she gets into this highly selective college. :chillpill:

 

Anyone else do the same?

One sent already, another EA coming up in a couple of days. Plus I'm hoping he'll get his regular action apps in soon after that. Most of the time-consuming stuff is done when the common app is finished. I'm very relieved!

DS also sent one in. This is his reach school.  Another one in the works due next week.

 

I agree about the common app.  It seems like a heavy weight off now that it's finished.  Also had to submit a CSS profile and that was not as bad as we had heard, all because DH makes spreadsheet every year of our finances and most of the info we needed was readily available.

Dd's EA safeties went out this am yahoo!

Next EA is due mid-November and it'll be a mid-reach school. University of Calif app's are now open for this month and are half completed.

DS sent out a restrictive early action application.  I swing from happy excitement to anxious worry.  I am quite anxious about this decision and what it will mean in the long run if he is not selected.  I worry about the loss of merit aid from other schools that he could have applied to early decision (nonbinding).

 

Although the common app is finished, he is working on multiple essays and supplements for his other choices, just in case.  There is still a lot of pressure in our house.

 

December 18 cannot come soon enough.

 

I wonder how much chai I will consume between now and then??
