klmama
My oldest can register for either one and wants my input. Which would be better/easier to take first if a student hasn't had a formal econ class before? FWIW, the professor is the same for both classes and has excellent reviews. Mama Geek
I only took macro in college and had strong math skills. it was pretty easy. Has your oldest had calculus? I think everything was solved by algebra but it made sense because of having the calc under my belt.
wapiti
I would recommend micro as the more important course (IMO the concepts are foundational). So I'd take micro in the fall and macro in the spring.
mumto2
Micro is the traditional first. Many Macro units are probably a bit easier if you have already taken Micro.
