KarenNC Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 We are incredibly fortunate that a friend is handing down his DSLR camera to us, which will be my daughter's major Yule gift this year. She's getting very into photography and also likes the steampunk look, so I am trying to come up with not terribly expensive ideas for a steampunk leather camera shoulder bag. It needs to hold the camera and have room for at least a couple of lenses and whatever other accoutrements a photographer needs (I'm not totally sure), along with sufficient padding to protect the equipment. My husband has decent leatherworking skills and we have some leather of various weights around, so I'm looking both at ready-made items and at design ideas for DIY. Anyone seen anything really cool? The photojojo store sells an "any bag camera bag insert" for $69...it's basically the inside of a camera bag that turns any bag into a camera bag.
