rieshy
I had a wonderful 90 minute, slow flow yoga practice. It felt so good, almost like a gift to myself. Rieshy, what is the FB series that you are doing? FB is Fitness Blender- they have 100's of free workouts on youtube but http://www.fitnessblender.com/v/workout-programs/ is a link to their workout schedule programs. You get an e-book that has links to what you do each day. Our gym membership expired and we haven't renewed so I'm doing these early in the morning on my iPhone. It doesn't wake the house (thus ending alone time) like when I turn on the T.V. in the den. I'm not trying to lose weight- the workouts are just really strenuous and similar to the type of conditioning for explosive power which is what I sorely need in sparring. Today- a.m. 1 1/2 hour open mat martial arts workout, including a long grappling session. Whew- tiring. This afternoon I went out for a 7 mile run and came back in 4.4 miles. I think it was because I've not drunk enough water for the past two days with the colder weather, my muscles just feel sore.
gardenmom5
I've done yoga today, and we'll see if it stops pouring long enough today to walk. I do have to do some yard work - it would be nice if it would dry up. I don't mind drizzle - but that wasn't it.
Joyofsixreboot
Way behind on posting anything. I ran real miles along with running to stay in place.
BooksandBoys
I ran today and Wednesday, with lots of squats and push-ups in between. We're moving tomorrow. Since this is the second time we will move (ourselves) in only 4 months, I'm counting the workout for this week too :-).
Negin
Link to new thread. Negin, how do you like Classical Stretch? What do you like about it? I've always wanted to try it, but our library doesn't have it and it is too expensive to just buy to try. I'll reply to you on the new thread. :)
